Lebanese hash is a type of hashish that is produced in Lebanon, a country located in the Middle East. The production process for Lebanese hash involves leaving cannabis plants on the field to dry until they are a reddish-brown color. Once they are fully dried, the plants are harvested and brought to a barn where they are hung and dried in a manner similar to tobacco.

After the plants have fully dried, the dried buds are rubbed over a fine silk cloth, producing a powder that is then stored inside plastic bags. The powder is allowed to “age” until the winter months, when it is traditionally pressed by hand into slabs that weigh 50g, 100g, 200g, or 1,000g. These slabs are known for their beautiful yellow color and are a hallmark of authentic Lebanese hash. Some argue this may be one of the best hash available to date, although personal preference are huge factors.
