Purple Thai is a sativa dominant hybrid (80% sativa/20% indica) strain created as a cross of the deliciously potent Oaxacan Gold X Chocolate Thai strains. Much like its parents, Purple Thai has an insanely mouthwatering aroma of earthy nutty berry with a surprisingly powerful chocolate coffee bouquet that’s released when the nugs are broken apart. The flavor is very nutty and chocolaty with an overtone of coffee and has been said to taste like drinking a hazelnut latte with chocolate syrup. A delicate spicy berry flavor can be detected if this bud is vaped rather than smoked. This batch was not fully grown. Still had a nice high but the taste was not like true Purple Thai. Probably the reason why it was in the AA+ category.

This is really good for the price. Wow. Wasn't expecting that as I'm a bit of a weed snob. I spaced out and stared at my husband plowing snow for awhile after burning one. What a nice surprise considering I have such a high tolerance.

Having lived in Thailand for a year I can say I believe this is real Thai. Evident by the mild grassy scent, complete lack of trichomes, an appearance that is worthy of being smashed into a brick, and deceptively strong potency. This weed has a crazy ugly:potent ratio. I wasn't expecting much from this, but it is actually a hard-hitting sativa. I couldn't believe that I got so high from weed with no trichomes. While this isn't 5 star weed, I'm giving 5 stars because the description of the high and the pictures are so accurate.
